Depends really. I find it effective above 75-80, but it looks so much better without it...

Looks way better without it, but aerodynamics are much improved with it on.  I guess it comes down to what's more important to you...looks or function.

i have mix decisions too. i take mine off and on every now and then. i know lots of work but hey i just can't settle.

i leave it off. it makes a big difference in fatigue for the 75-80mph stints though. and i mean a lot.

+1 for off.
Now maybe I'm the only one, but I have found A LOT less wind buffeting with the screen off at all speeds. The screen would always push the wind right to my helmet.
My 2 cents. (Crap, now I'm all out.)

+1 for off, though I have put it back on for 6+ hour rides, which I then remove promptly once I get back. It actually does work at higher speeds for me, but as far as looks go, definitely off.

+2.  More wind at my chest and shoulders, but the wind directed at my helmet has been all but eliminated.

I'll go against the Majority here, I prefer them on.  ;D

I have a CF cowel to go with my CF fender so off. But every so often when i want a new look I put the original cowl and the faring on.

I like mine off as well, But ive been known to get a wild hair and put it back on now and then.  It really only takes 15 min to take it on or off.

Mine's off and I have never understood the comment about protection from wind blast. Both of my bikes are Naked and neither has a wind screen. Maybe it's the way I hold my head when I ride but I regularly travel at 80-90-100+ and don't get the wind blast.
