Im curious as to why everyone thinks that they are so great versus other brands that are still out there.  If someone wants to let me borrow theirs I can have my buddy fab some up.

as i recall, they were always hard to get. even when they were in production.
that made them rare........which makes some folks feel that they are worth more now.

personally, i think they look great. but not great enough to pay more for them than a brand new set from a company that is still making them/ parts for them.

I think they were one of the few rearsets that allowed you to adjust the peg position slightly back and lower so you can get a little more leg room.  Most rearsets adjust them back and higher.

MonsterMan1036

I would say they have the best adjustment and can be done quickly.

and that is a great feature.
but my rizomas do the same thing, cost less new, are still made, and parts are not unobtanium.

They are awesome to me because they hold up to multiple crashes. I've ground down a lot of pegs from race crashes but never damaged anything else on CC rearsets. I'm now out of spare pegs so I can't afford to crash again.
Oh, and they have an awesome range of adjustability. [beer]

Cycle Cats had the adjustability and the finish options to match what you wanted to do with a bike, and they looked really good. I really wish I could get a set of silver with red caps for my Monster.

I think I have a brand new Ti colored set. Not sure if they had red caps or not.  8)

copyright laws, i believe, would only come into play if i was selling or making a profit.  maybe thats the laws on manufacturing alcohol, im not sure, but i know that there are ways around them.

IANAL, but...

Nobody's going to catch you, but copying even for yourself is illegal.  For example, you can't grab a CD that I own and then rip it to your computer legally.

Now, if you were going to use the original Cycle Cats as "inspiration" and make something very similar (but not the same) I don't think you'd have a problem unless they had their design patented.
