Thanks Bazz,

I think it's something we SSS riders might not think about much.

speaking of SSS....I know some s2r guys powdercoat theres...and the s4rs guys had theirs in black as stock (that's right isnt it)....

do SSS ever get chips if powdercoated? on the bottom....?

thanks for the heads up....I'll get Brad to check mine when I'm in (about a month away)

FYI Spider,
I got mine Painted, The guy who painted used Jotun Industrial paint, so it's not ultra smooth, but it is a very tough paint, I then got some Carbon Fiber printed Vinyl and covered a section that cops the rocks and debris. here's a pic.

I have heard of the Cush drives backing out, that's why I keep a close eye on mine.

the cush drives backing out has been an issue since the 916 days unfortunately. i fitted a AFAM quick change sprocket carrier which has tabs on the back to stop the problem.

I'm not that mechanically literate. What am I supposed to see in the photos and how should it look?

In the words of the Oxley moron, "please explain?"  ???

probably hundreds of warranty claims generated by it and they never changed them.  you really wonder some times.  altho tamburini fixed it on his next effort.
