Off the coast of N Carolina. OBX islands.

The Hurricane was more dramatic & beautiful than dangerous. The surf was huge the days before, the thunder rattled the windows and made you squint really hard and spill your beer, it rained sideways and the furniture blew off the deck, then there was an outrageous Sunset, all in about an hour and a half. Quite a show.

Out gawddamnit.  I pulled an 18 hour shift yesterday in hopes of getting all the work completed.  Nope...

So, I"m working today to finish up and that doesn't leave enough time for me to replace my faulty stator and ride to SF (& she won't make it on the battery alone...)
