HOLY CRAP
They have anodized billet clutch hubs. my craving for GOOOOOOOOOLD could have been satisfied! (And again, they aren't too expensive either!)

That thing probably saves 4 or 5 pounds of weight over the stocker.  The stock one has a spring cushion built in so I'd be interested to know if this hub might make the clutch grabby.

I've been looking at their water pump cover too.  It is a good price compared to speedymoto.

I've got a billet hub, the vee two. The two, besides anodization, are identical. no cush = more direct feel. hardly a difference though.

For you coffin owners, here is what SSR's caps look like:

04 999s - the mistress

On the previous page, was that a beautiful new clutch hub with an old, worn out, stock basket?? :'(

Yeah, its from their website, I suppose its just to show people where the hub is, since its kind of hidden behind the pressure plate and is primarily replaced for the weight savings...

I have to imagine that, given the number of 1098S/1198S/1098R/999R bikes I see sitting in front of Burger Bar in uptown / west village in Dallas with original tires still on the bike complete with the little rubber whiskers still, there are a few ducati owners that have no idea there's a hub in the clutch.

what in the hell are those little rubber whiskers on new tires called?

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

Someone better let Chevy know Ducati owns SSR.

is there a Chevy "SSR" trademark?  I cannot find it.  Only one for "SuperSport Roadster"

I also ordered the reverse shorty shifter (and some bar ends) from SSR, I'll let you guys know how they are when I get them!

I think you're confusing it with the Chevy HHR..

Highly doubt its infringing since they aren't trying to pass it off as Ducati origin (it stands for slingshot racing, and the logo is certainly different) or Chevrolet bizarre niche vehicle stuff.

I guess my sarcasm was lost. The fact that their name shortens to SSR doesn't infringe.

Searching for SSR will give you literally dozens of matches. And Ducati SSR is technically "DEAD"
