We rode PCH to 84, up to ALICE's for breakfast in the dense fog. The Sun popped out just in time for us to head back down Pescadero Rd. to say hello to somegirl and the dogs.  [thumbsup]

After we went off on the ball busting Stage Rd. Thanks DQ. Miraculously they still work  [thumbsup]

Thanks DQ for hosting the cappuccino's! Nice riding with you finally bigiain, ...and our Italian visitor Mr. M. and Alfonso.  ;D
Thanks P for letting us invade and saying hello.

PS. I've never seen so many [leo] on HYW 1. We even got pulled over - the lot of us. Then sent on our way by that nice officer with a stern warning.

It was great to see you guys too. [thumbsup]  Glad I got a chance to see Big before he heads back down under. :)

Oh, if you think Stage Rd is ball busting I guess I won't be taking you on Alpine or Alba. ;)

Dude, Stage Rd is better than the equivalent section of traffic-choked highway 1. Harden the make the beast with two backs up, mate.

[laugh]
nice.
After I grow a mustache maybe I'll soften the suspension up a hair and check out Alpine.

Every now and then I get to take someone new on a ride like today and remember what a fantastic place we live in. To be able to see redwood forests, pumpkin patches, sea cliffs, rolling grass hills, and 30 degree temperature changes on one ride is pretty magical. I rode in Italy for a few years, but I can only imagine what riding in Australia is like. It sounds amazing. If I ever harden the make the beast with two backs up enough I'll come give it a visit.

Now we should send this video to somegirl's townies. Someone called the Po po and told them we were weaving in and out of cars cutting people off.
I don't know who would do such a thing on a motorcycle. Do they think we are so rude?  They may have been exaggerating just a tad.

I suspect Kings Mountain and Tunitas Creek would be better without balls. Let me know after your operation, John.

Nah, Tunitas creek has recently been repaved, it's much better than it used to be. [thumbsup]

Oh, and Kings Mountain is the one I nearly passed a Harley while on the Orbea, except that he blocked me. [cheeky]

Someday I'll do a calculation of how many MOB threads that end in trading insults with JohnC no matter the topic.
