I enforce a strict you broke it you bought it policy...so make sure you have an extra Jackson in your pocket before we strafe the canyons.

Totally agreed.

I didn't think there was any other way you borrowed someone else's bike. That's always been my rule when friends take them for a spin, so I reciprocate the feelings.

No worries, I am not a hard rider and with those roads.......no way!

by the way.......

as a smoker I recall reading that SF has strict laws on where you can't smoke, is this true?

Basically, don't smoke around other people and never indoors.   That'll keep you relatively safe.

You can smoke inside at Ace Cafe (shhh, don't tell anyone) or outside at Zeitgeist.

I figured the never indoors and noted about around other people.

I think I read you can't smoke in public parks too?

wow, smoking indoors?

we've been smoke free here for a few years.

I can't stand smokey bars anymore, but always a novelty when you can.

I'm not really a heavy smoker. It is 2:00 EST and I haven't had a cigarette nor will I until probably tonight. Which raises the question.........why not just quit?

that's right, you guys have those "special cards" that get you into the secret shop that sells the forbidden plant!

Ace is the exception. Other indoor bars are smoke-free, but everyone who works at Ace smokes so they tolerate it. I kinda wish they'd get rid of it, since it ruins the otherwise good food they server.

That does suck.

I've never been a fan of smoking while eating or even near my food.

Don't let him show you his gerbil collection.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

I will disagree!

You invited me over for dinner, conversation progressed to actual living, and then you said I won't want to leave.

Not anymore for me. Gave mine up. But yes the special secret shops are really something. My favorites used to be a place commonly referred to as "The 3rd floor" in Oakland, and its sister branch at 14th & Mission. There was also a place on Divisiadaro St. where every day at 4:20 PM some Nuns would come down the stairs & pass out joints. But that was a different time. At least for me.
