Here lies the body of Mary Lee
Died at the age of 103
For 15 years she kept her virginity
Not a bad record for this vicinity

Some mentioned, some not... not all great cinema, but good to watch  [wine]

The Fifth Element Mila Jovovich-  'nuff said "Perfect"

The Andromeda Strain great sci-fi with political commentary...  - You are referring to the original, right?

Better Off Dead one of the better Cusack comedies - I WANT MY $2.00!!!

To add to the list...

"No Man's Land" w/ Charlie Sheen, D.B. Sweeney.  "I only steal Porsches."

It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

+1 to the above mentioned:

The Postman

Natural Born Killers

And I'll also add.... American History X
2004 S4R
1998 Honda F3 (Track)
2001 M600 (Now the Wife's)

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

[evil]

Smiling End

I'm not sure if anyone mentioned these two:

Equilibrium and The Machinist.  Both awesome movies.
99 M750 Dark

Conan the Barbarian. The score, the cinematography, the Nietzschian philosophy, its got it all. Nuff said....

Forgot Reign of Fire, already mentioned I think.

And yes, the original Andromeda, though against my better judgment I just watched the new A&E TV version... coulda been a whole lot worse!

I have this on DVD.  "It's a hand grenade"  [laugh] if you've seen the movie you know why that line is so ridiculous.

I'll second or third the votes for the following:
Boondock Saints
...on general principles, but especially for Willem Dafoe's character.

Fifth Element
...on general principles, and for the great sense of humor.

Killer Klowns From Outer Space
...I periodically threaten my wife that I'll force her to watch this.

And add:

28 Days Later
...fun and intense take on the whole "zombies take over the world" thing.

The Big Blue
...must watch for scuba divers.

The Big Lebowski
...this mighta been listed earlier, and I missed it, but if it wasn't, it should have been!

Office Space
"...and I said, I don't care if they lay me off either, because I told, I told Bill that if they move my desk one more time, then, then I'm, I'm quitting, I'm going to quit. And, and I told Don too, because they've moved my desk four times already this year, and I used to be over by the window, and I could see the squirrels, and they were married, but then, they switched from the Swingline to the Boston stapler, but I kept my Swingline stapler because it didn't bind up as much, and I kept the staples for the Swingline stapler and it's not okay because if they take my stapler then I'll set the building on fire..."

Already mentioned:   [thumbsup]

Memento- movie that haunted me for days after watching it.
Conan-  one of the best all time movies.
Canonball Run-  the out-takes are also really funny.

Not yet mentioned:   [popcorn]

Rear Window-  the original one with Jimmy Stewart and Grace Kelly.  Great movie that'll scare you, all takes place in one room.
Scanners-  even if only for the scene where the guys head explodes.
Wall Street-  Gordon Gecko, "Greed is good."  Nuff said.
Breakfast Club/16 Candles-  if you are close to my age, you'll know why.
Big Fish-  great story, great ending.
Clerks-  very surprised nobody mentioned this yet.  Incredible dialogue.  Hilarious.  Amazing how good a movie can be on such a low budget.
Almost Famous-  great soundtrack, great story, great cinematography, great acting.
History of the World, Part 1-  Mel Brooks, classic.
Excalibur-  great film from back in the day about Camelot and King Arthur.  My brothers and I would watch it, then make armor and swords out of household goods and beat the crap out of each other.
Ahh... but the servant waits, while the master baits.
