"Sponsor" a Lunch Meet-Up thread for next week?  ;D

'faid I can't do lunches during the week.  Trying to make it to Irving or Dallas over lunch from my office (south Fort Worth) isn't possible.  However, a weekend lunch, I'm there!  Or a weeknight dinner, is also another way to let Ideapimp see the SC1000!

A couple of drinks and that bike of yours will let anyone on for a ride!

Hey, IP, that '06 at Storm on FleaBay sold for $5151.
Sounds like a pretty good deal. Anyone think it would have been more than 2k to fix it up?

Oh dear... fast and loose   [cheeky]

That's a good buy as long as it didn't have a bent frame or forks. But the apparent damage did not look very serious at all. Not bad enough to worry about. Besides I just happen to know a guy with a brand new set of stock Sports 1000 forks with zero miles on them! [laugh] A little money and some light duty wrench work would have that bike in primo shape in no time! [thumbsup] Lucky dude got a good bike for $5K.

Well I have no idea what fixing up something like that would cost. You guys gotta educate me. :)

Par for the course this week, though. If you guys would look over onto the thread "the saga continues" you'd know what I'm talking about.

for what it's worth man (which may not be much) i'm always willing to hang out and turn wrenches...i know plenty of other people on here would be, too.  some of us even come with tools, too   [thumbsup]  that, plus the Haynes manual and TOB FAQ/tech sections are pretty much all you need most of the time.   [beer]  never hesitate to PM me with wrenching sessions.
