Well I am the proud owner of a 2006 S2R 800. Some say it is too big/powerful a bike for your first, but I disagree. I love the torque and the feel of this bike. I have always loved Duc's and now I own one! First mod up will be a tail chop, then maybe a 14T, we'll see. Oh, and I took the MSF so I am not just hopping on this thing being totally "green".

Anyway.... here are some pics.

Got Duc

Welcome.

Way to start a post with pictures!  [thumbsup]
Why do roaches always die on their back?

That because the survivors flip them over to steal their sneakers and wallets.

I got a 900 for my first bike and I'm only 5'4" on a good day.  Just remember that you might find yourself with a slightly steeper learning curve.  Just more reason to get even more saddle time!

Oh yes, I am spending as much time riding as I can! The most important thing is I am not out-riding my abilities.

Welcome!  I think that is a great bike to start with...I find that people outgrow their bike too fast if they try and start on something too small.
Be safe!
