Check out Buell's website, it's quite sad.

They should have got rid of that engine years ago, then they might have had something.

You may not like the style, but the bikes Erik Buell engineered used a lot of true innovations that should inspire respect, IMHO.
With Erik Buell out of business (I hope not for long) the motorcycle industry is loosing its only REAL inventor/engineer...
And this is a real loss.

It is a shame - they were innovative bikes. Perhaps the brand will be revived a la Triumph.

Plus I really liked their most recent advertising ("Sitting is not a sport") although it may have hit a little close to the bone in Milwaukee.

Lastly, any bike that can cause Spidey to go all sweaty-palmed on the track can't be all bad, can it?  ;D

Well, the last Blast ad I saw looked like a Spidey-bike.

They succeeded in re-making a "pig iron, chrome and testosterone"  Harley into something new and different: A cheesy ass, plastic bike  [puke]
I own several motorcycles. I have owned lots of motorcycles. And have bolted and/or modified lots of crap to said motorcycles...

Regardless of what one thinks of the Buell product line its sad to see someone like Erick Buell's life work fall apart like that.

They definitely gave us all something to think about with their technology and he was always working at perfecting the developments he pioneered... even if they weren't always quite right for everyone... The video on his site was heartfelt and sad it seemed.
