yeah, I called them today, they were open, and open 'til 11pm.

Ya, I don't know ... it's a little far from my house.

But I'll try to make it.

I have a request --
Can we go on this route, or something similar to it?

Have you submitted your 27b/6 ?

(a route similar is the plan, Stan! :) )

Ya, I'm even making sure that I put the new cover sheet on all the TPS reports before they go out.

So, I'm excited to ride through the airport.

I love going past Terminal 4 and hearing the engine echo off the walls, but really, the best part is the loop around after Terminal 3. You actually go up a steep hill, around a parking lot, and then back down the steep hill in a single lane --  it's like a freakin matchbox track. So much fun.

Not sure why, and I hate being a party pooper 'cause I'm almost always up for anything....but I have no desire to ride through the airport.  :-[

I was there just last night and I have to say that the Arrivals section would *not* be an enjoyable ride-through.
Ugh. Unless you have a snow plow or people-mover on the front of your car....

For the arrivals section, the road splits next to the terminals (with a sidewalk in between) so that one set of lanes is close to the building and handles pick ups/drop offs, and another set of lanes go straight past.

So, it shouldn't be a problem.

I think cruising the airport takes your "bike gang" level to a new low.

First of all, Tuesday nights at the airport are the busiest ... everyone knows that.

Wednesday nights, however, are practically traffic-less.

Randy's right, we'd be the baddest "bike gang" in town!  [thumbsup]

Even without traffic, the airport is still the airport. Think, airport security and Phoenix police abound. Going fast enough to make it fun (and worth the trip) is begging for a ticket. Urban hooliganism is a fine art that requires discretion.

So...see everyone at Chuy's, NE corner of 32nd St. & Indian School at 7/7:30?

We'll eat, we'll joke around, we'll discuss riding routes to Mills End Cafe at the north end of Mill Ave! :)
