This interview with Mat Mladin was conducted in July of 2006 at Mazda Laguna Seca Raceway. Originally it was to be a SoupKast, but technical issues limited it as a text-only document. The session was recorded in Mat Mladin's motorhome and afterwards, when the technical problems became known, we decided to keep the transcript unpublished until Mat retired.

Really interesting.

It reminds me yet again about how much of a debt Ben Spies owes to Mat Mladin. 
Occasionally AFM #702  My stuff:  The M1000SS, a mashed r6, Vino 125, the Blonde, some rugrats, yuppie cage, child molester van, bourbon.

Prolly because he's a dick and doesn't seem to care that many people thinks so.

I've always liked Mladin.  He let his riding do the talking and called bvllshit when it needed to be called. 

I think Rossi is very much the same type of guy, he just does it with a smile on his face.

Don't expect much and you won't be disappointed.
