Wow! Now I'm sorry I even mentioned it.   

they feel um,.........fake. kind of like plastic bags covered in skin.
that being said, when tastefully done they look exceptional

+1 on what herm said. Up until then I had very little experience with fake boobs. I can honestly say I really didn't like them. They feel....harder.

Since then I have had a chance to ummmm......sample a few more sets and I still prefer the real thing.

can't forget the real ones so you have a basis for comparison. they feel different from owner to owner even when they are real. need to make sure there is a broad sample there as well.

i have been sampling broads  for doing a long range comparison of the real thing for the last 25 years. i expect to have the results tabulated by 2070, +/-

sister-in-law told me at a party she learned of a fool proof method of knowing if they were fake.  Shine a flashlight from underneath and they'll glow.  Apparently, there was plenty of alcohol.  she said hers didn't glow. 

I think the guys just made it up to see who'd flash the boobs (for science, of course).

later i dated a girl who's were as big as my freaking head.

both had issues standing for long periods of time and had to get reductions, but they were real dag nabit.

i would say 2 things:

1) each one (set) feels different. The "well done" feel quite nice, the not-so-well-done feel just like you said...saline solution, silicone...under muscle, over muscle, through the areola, belly button, armpit...you name it...they all feel different (just like the real ones)...

2) its like lanesplitting. If you are used to it and keep it in reason, you enjoy the advantages of it. If you are not used to it or you overdo it, it can freak you (or others) out
