The wife is doing army training outta town for the next 6 weeks, which means PT every day...so decided to cut back on all the delicious food I eat and start eating "healthier." First order of business: Made a giant pot of sweet and spicy homemade chili and rice.

Been playin basketball twice a week
Racquetball once a week
Swimming once a week

Limiting food intake, and have yielded no results....I think im going back to my delicious diet!
with all that excersize you are building muscle so it's evening out

that would work for me at least. lol

I may be a loser in our challenge.

So far our afternoon high hasn't been below 100f for over a week now. I spend a lot of time out side at work, and by the time I get home...there's no way in hell I'm going out to ride my bike. Have been taking short walks around dusk, but I'm sure those don't help much.

On top of that our grass fires have started back up. I spent last night packing up anything important in to the car incase we have to bolt again (we spent 2 weeks away from home in April too, due to wild fires). The weather this year SUUUUUUUCCCCCKKKKSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

anyways...still sitting pretty at 4 pounds down from start...but it doesn't seem to be going any further

It was great meeting "The Dude" at long last.   She brought us some epic beer.

Sitting at 166.  But heading to happy hour with my buddy the musician tonight... And Wednesday... And another gig next Friday... Etc etc.      Doing sound and drinking whiskey is more betterer than running and lifting.

My homemade salad with chicken is pretty yummy for lunch.
It's still buy a flounder a drink month

we all know that standing in a bar running a board requires a certain level of fitness. don't worry, you will get there after enough time. ;D

I find it disturbing that you're imagining me in a sauna, never mind the teletubbie aspect of it

Wow, that sounds really tasty!

My indulgence yesterday was a big ol cheeseburger on a cheesy bun with a side of....drumroll please...chicken-beer-sausage mac n' cheese deep fried into a square of crispy cheesy deliciousness!!

Went for an chill walk after :)

This is one thing I've learned from the experience. I enjoy taking a nice evening stroll, just before the sun goes down. It's almost a zen thing  ;D

I did NOT do well today.  Translated:  I made a stop at a fast food place.  Fried = way no bueno.

Did get a mtn. bike ride in before laying in bed for 6 hours.

I spent 5 hours yesterday running the course set up at work for the bus rodeo. My legs are sore! During the practice sessions the drivers would knock the cones over and I would right them. I could have drove the golf cart, but chose to run as a means of getting fit.

Then I came home and had a beer!
