The Cards/Pack game was awesome!  Way to go Cardinals.  Any team that takes the Packers out of the playoffs earns my respect.  [beer]

I can't believe they gave up the lead like that though.  And Rackers - WTF?  34 yards?  If AZ had lost the game, he would be a free agent tomorrow.  [laugh]

The Cardinals better learn to play some defense though or they're not going any further.

Well, The same could have been said about the Packers had they won.  :D

Well, Their defense played a strong first half, then won the game for them.  :D

That Packers/Cards game was crazy!  :o Defense, huh?  [laugh]

Predictions for next week:

Vikings will handle the Cowboys. The Vikings defensive line will make Romo look bad.

Saints/Cards is a tough one. Neither team has a defense. Who knows...Cards win, Saints will start slow due to the bye making them lazy. Saints have looked like crap lately anyway.

Colts beat the Ravens. Manning is just too good, and Flacco isn't.

Chargers over the Jets. Sanchez won't play well 2 playoff games in a row, and even if he does the Chargers are on a roll

Colts - They have to win so San Diego can knock them out as usual.
Chargers - No way the Jets beat a real team.
Cowboys - Vikings haven't had a pulse lately.
Cards - Saints seem to have even less defense and no offense lately.

I'll go with....

Cowboys...Favre has never beat them in the Playoffs
Colts...I think Gomer is too strong
Saints...They have been down too long
Jets....Defense

Rest Verses Rust

Rested home teams over beat-up teams on the road. It's academic.

Unless those home teams are over-rested. Last year proved it's all about who wants it more.

Desert Dust

Possibly, but if I were a coach, I'd prefer to have my guys rested, at home, and healthy.
That being said, I believe the two home teams with the highest possibility of losing are the Vikes and the Saints.

Reasons: Vikes haven't looked all that sharp lately and the boys from Dallas are playing great.

Same with the Saints, but can the Cards slow them down? Can Warner play as well as he did last week. I think he has to for the Cards to win.

Great weekend for  [drink] and  [popcorn] and  [bacon]

You sure about that? I thought he beat them in Dallas when GB won the Superbowl??

So how bad will Favre look?  The last time he played the Cowboys, they knocked him out of the game in the 1st quarter, after intercepting him twice.  This defense is better and his offensive line kinda sucks.

I'm trying to figure out how the Vikings are actually favored in this game.  Other than home field, they really don't have an advantage anywhere on the field.
