I'm a big old wussie! I won't ride in this weather if you paid me! We need this rain, but I do wish it would clear up so I could get in one good ride and, hopefully, I can resume my daily commute soon. The bart/car commute sucks bad.

I remember the days without car, riding to and from work and everyplace else weather it was 105 or storming like this. Don't miss it much. but ya do what you have to do. My hats off to anybody that rides in this kind of weather. Just slow down and get there...

I didn't ride today.  Too much for me.   [moto]

Guess you have to draw the line somewhere. Still.... my hats off to you.

On another note, got power back on yesterday, and we didn't lose power today......Yet.

Ugh. Two days of caging it is about driving me nuts.

Unless it's looking like the apocalypse outside, I'm riding tomorrow!

I think I am going to hang up the bad weather riding so I am searching for a used car.

I was able to work from home yesterday but I really should head into the office today.
I will try to sneak to work between rain breaks if there are any.

And you don't exactly have the best rain bike...100+ HP at the rear wheel in a lumpy, torquey mill? Ouch.

What have you been driving that's so terrible? 1968 Ford 3/4 ton P.U. with four speed & no P.S. with lots of slop in the steering with a heater that is stuck on cold or something?

Or something newer & better?

'95 Acura Integra. The car's OK, actually it runs really well for a 15 year old car, but it's the being stuck in traffic I have no patience for anymore.

I guess having a radio's nice though - it helps to distract you from the sitting in traffic part.

Lucky me ecvjr.'s sick so I get to sit today out.
Why wasn't he sick yesterday - my 30 min. commute took and hour via back roads.

I'm gonna shit in your helmet the next time I see you.

I was rockin' the '62 ford with vacuum wipers.

+1

fekking parking garages are enough to send me over the edge.
If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much room

Yeah that's even a bigger reason. I think if I had a more rain friendly bike I would hit the wet weather more often.

I'm driving to San Bernardino Sunday in the 2000 Mercedes E320 making a stop in the city on the way. It has all kinds of bells & whistles to do distracting with. Maybe your Acura could use Garmin Nav system or something to help in that regard.

Those wipers sound interesting. Do you have to double clutch too?
