From a stop sign, turning right onto another street, cold tires, cold road, probably a bit more gas than was necessary...
I'm ok though.  Gear good.

Nothing too serious, glad you are ok.

Glad you are ok.  Same question though, highside after things started sliding?

yeah, I think it was a very minor wobbly highside

The only thing I'm really concerned with right now is that I'm pretty sure the rearset mounting tabs will need to be rewelded and strengthened.  They're bent and have a slight hairline that's visible.  I'm just hoping that can be fixed 'on-bike' because otherwise I would need to strip the bike down to the frame, which is undesirable for obvious reasons...

If it were the monster, it would be reason enough to get the whole frame reshot and strengthened, but well, there it is

Might be of use.

Make sure you paint over the new welding with some sort of touch up so that rust isn't going to do it in.

:o  That totally stinks!  Really glad you're O.K.  And your bike!  Ah man, very sad - that's a very cool ride...  :'(

i'm here to help put it all back together in the future!

as far as you, i'm not a doctor, but if i stay in a holiday inn express, i'm sure i can figure it out.

I've got a lead on a plastics and paint healer in the area apparently, I'll look into the brackets if it comes to that, but I'm going to see if it needs to get that far

I had a couple of PA friends who live down the street and had them do an assessment immediately just in case and they didn't find anything, so that's good!

Huge bummer. Glad you survived and the damage is no worse than it is. Good luck hunting parts.

I second that post! Really sorry for the dinged up Tamburini and probably a little pride to go with it. Hope it's all quickly and cheaper fixed. Glad some yahoo cage driver didn't run you over!
