I had a SUV before, when I was living in Lake Tahoe where I would actually use the 4X4 at least 40% of the time a year.  I also had a 9500lb warn winch on it that would actually get used at least a few times a year (mine actually went off-road, the real kind of off-roading.  It was modded).  I sold that car once I moved to the bay area, didn't see a need in having that vehicle anymore, you know...I have nothing to make up for unlike some people...
