I'm completely new to motorcyles.  I just took my permit test and will doing a M.S.F. class in a few weeks to learn the basic skills and obtain my license.
I've always lusted after Ducati's (the aesthetics, the sound, etc.) and hope to pick one up soon.
I look forward to learning a lot.

Thanks for the friendly welcome.  I actually just purchased an '08 Monster and expect delivery within a week or two.  I'll post photos of my new baby then.
