Washing machine has been down for a couple weeks.

Repair man came prior to us heading out of town.

Part (motor) ordered and showed up before we left.

Installation of said motor schedule for 8AM-12PM today. 

Repair man was actually here prior to 8AM.

Opened box with motor and found it to be damaged (mounting screws bent and electrical connection busted).

No similar motors in local area.

Walked into my shop today, greeted immediately by the stench of gasoline....in quantity.

WTF. Peek under and around everything....

Turns out the fuel sender seal on my '67 Cougar suddenly shit the bed in the last few days. Gas all over the floor, a spot about the size of a garbage can lid. At least it's only a $.68 part and a little time to fix.

Started a new position at the same co different team working on informatica for data warehousing.  I have 6mon exp in this tool n I am already supposed to lead a f'n project.  Wtf!!!!   Just let me get a year under my belt and then look for some other job elsewhere.  Switching gears from .net, actuate, sql sprocs to the ETL side of things now (Extract-trasform-Load), the Informatica way.
