just spent TEN HOURS trimming trees on my apartment property ( I am the manager, not the owner), ran a pole saw and a chipper myself and trimmed 12 HUGE trees. I can barely move. What do I hear? Hmmm? Complaints. "They don't look right" "I think you should have trimmed the front more" "shouldn't the owners pay a professional to do that?" "Why didn't you rent a bucket lift? It would have been easier."

Shit thing is, one recruiter did it without my permission, denies it but also refuses to contact the hiring manager and explain.

FML. Ouray can't come fast enough.

So, I leave to go to work the other day after spending a view days working from home and being a shut in.

Apparently the vocal draconian safety nannies in my neighborhood have convinced the homeowners association to put in these ridiculously large speed humps.

So now, instead of carefully maintaining a 35 MPH speed through the heavily trafficked family type area, I now have to come to a dead stop and creep over 3 large obstructions in the mile drive back to my house.
