Ride Brisbane 17 & 18 April

Ok looks like one of our southern brethren is heading North to Gods country (aka Queensland). Who is interested in showing her around our fair land?

Options include the famous Mt Glorious/Mt Mee loop as well as Mt Lindsay Highway and Lions Rd. Maybe even include Hinze dam.

Do I have any takers?

Don't believe a word those Sydney boys say about me!     I'm normal (almost  )

Whilst planning my trip I have realised that my bike will be due for it's 60 000km service round about Brisbane.  And good Ducati mechanics are usually pretty busy so I need to think about booking it in now.

So who do I go to in Brisbane for servicing?  Should just be a standard service but the clutch hasn't had anything done to it since new so I'm guessing that's about due too.

And I'm not mechanically minded so I can't just borrow someone's shed and tools and do it myself.

Thanks Betty.  Knew I could count on you.  I wasn't sure of which company and which state as I don't always pay a lot of attention when you northerners talk about your mechanics. 

I'm lucky I have Mr Black for my mechanical needs here in Mexico.

Nice to have you along Brimo.  Dinner sounds good too. I'm a bit of a fan of genuine Vietnamese.  Thai is good too.

I don't know my way around those parts so it would be good if you locals could sort something.

We welcome anyone (even females) it's just that we don't like each other much. 
But seriously folks if the saturday night is good for people let me know and I'll book a vietnamese place in West End. I vote the beechmont loop for Sunday, close to the Gold Coast if you wanna see it Heather. But then, the Mt. Glorious/Mt.Mee road is the iconic ride for Brisbanites.

the indooroopilly fuzz and i don't see eye to eye so i'm not going anywhere near glorious/nebo! beechmont/binna burra is a nice ride, i can't make dinner saturday night though, plans made already.
