I think there is simply just a cyclical expanding and collapsing of all the matter that we call our universe.
Starts with a mass so compact and dense that it explodes outward from being too compressed, expands until the initially outward force is overcome by the gravitational force back to center and then slowly collapses back inward. Rinse and repeat.

Probably also an infinite number of these expanding/collapsing universes....all sitting in neat little rows being used to light up a sign exclaiming "Topless Girls!"

Or nothing exists and this is all a figment of an equally non-existent imagination.
