54 years old, living in Mission BC and riding for the past 38 years, all year round for the past 20 here in the Lower Mainland. I mangled the left forearm highsiding a daytona675 at the track on September and bought a Monster because clip ons are no longer suited to the shape of the arm. This will be my first Ducati....a 2000S with a little carbon and a splash of Ohlins.

Welcome and congrats on the Duc. [thumbsup]

Sorry to hear about your crash...I hope you are not in too much pain still. :-\

There are a few other members from BC here, hopefully some of them will stop in and say hi.

Oh, and we love bike pictures so please feel free to share if you have any. ;D

Enjoy! [moto]

Congrats on your 1st Ducati! Yes, there are a few BC riders here on the forum, including myself. Hope to see you out there soon. (As soon as I get my lazy ass to replace one of my Termi cans this weekend...I hope...)

I'm paying for the bike this weekend at Seattle Ducati, its a used 2000 Monster S, almost the same price in Canadian Dollars. I'll bring it up to Canada a week or so later. The arm is looking a bit "off" with a little deformity and some scars where the bones poked through. I'm under orders not to ride for 18 months from Sept 09. The ride up from Seattle will be interesting. This looks like a friendly helpful forum......................so far [evil]

Welcome!  Your new bike was my old one!  Sent you a PM.
