Anybody have a comfy sofa

for me to sleep on when I drive through the Flagstaff area around the first of June?  I'll have a big silly dog with me.

As I said in the other thread, I used to be up there.  I don't think there are any riders in Flagstaff anymore.  I know there was a guy who was a Duc tech who came down for the New Years ride back around '05.  I'm not sure if he's there anymore?  He was on TOB but I haven't seen him on the DMF. 

You may have to stay in a hotel up there.  It's a nice city but you'll want to stay on the west side. 

Get off I-40 at the first Flagstaff exit..which intersects with the 17 hwy.  You'll see NAU's large, white dome on your right.  Immediately after that, make a left at the first light.  I believe there's a Del Taco on the SW corner.  Then make a left. There are a couple hotels and several restauraunts close by along with a Wal-Mart.   

Have a safe trip.

I'll talk to my friend who lives up there to see if there might be a couch available. Not sure if they do pets in the house though. Would your dog be ok in an enclosed backyard for a night?

Ok.  It has been recommended by several folks that I do not attempt to make the drive from LA straight to Albuquerque.  And with that in mind, I might take a more southerly route out of LA that leads me to Phoenix.  Still got a spot on your sofa?

On the 31st.  I'll arrive in LA early on the 1st, get the car and start making my way towards you.  Figure it's what, about a five hour drive without stops?  I'm sure I will be stopping a few times to take a quick break and let D out to do her thing.
