I've got some of the matte black paint on my '07 695 that's been rubbed off because of some cheap plastic knee guards I used to wear  [bang] (I have full pants now). I was about to place an order from these guys when I decided I should ask the MOB if they've tried this first. ColorRite claims they've matched the Ducati matte black paint precisely. Has anybody used them before.
Also, if I order one of these touch-up pen's and it works well, does anyone else need to use it? I'm sure there will be plenty to go around and you lot are welcome to it.

PM ducpainter. It is what he does for a living, so he should be the final word on paint. He hooked me up with the color codes for Belgian Yellow for my 916. [thumbsup]
Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most.

i had gotten a bit of red paint from them for my 900SS and it was just the color coat that needed to be mixed with gloss and thinner before it could be applied.  The true is probably same for the dark as it seems like a semi-flat or egg-shell finish to me. I just used mine for touch up paint to correct a minor low side.

They do have spray can and touch up applications that I would assume should closely match the original finish as they are out of the bottle.

Just wanted to add my +1 on Color Rite.  I ordered a grey touch up pen for some frame scratches and not only was the delivery rocket-fast, the color and texture is perfect.
