Hello from future 796 owner in Southern California

Newport Beach, to be exact. My name is Paul. I am a former Monster '06 695 owner. I wrecked it a few years ago, and have been riding a Ninja 250 ever since (which I sold a week ago). I now have a deposit down on a new 796 which won't be here for almost two months ('cause I ordered the ABS version and those are coming later).

Anyway, I was wondering, when did this site start up? I used to visit http://www.ducatimonster.org/ but that place is a ghost town now. What's the deal?

We've been here a bit over two years now ever since Vertical Scope bought the DML (aka "TOB" or the old/other board).
