I hope Ducati dump Stoner on his bonnie whining ass or he f#*k's of to Honda,so we don't have to listen to the little boy cry anymore  [puke]

This way some one more committed will take Ducati to the next championship
Hayden is much more entertaining and he tries f#*king hard too, he should be an Aussie  [thumbsup]

I would love to see the # 46 on the Ducati  [drool]

The only real solution Ducati has for Stoner is to give him back the screamer engine - that suited his riding style.  Stoner may whinge but when he is on the money he is still the only person that really has a chance of putting the Ducati on the podium!

Hayden? Please! They guy has the personality of a dial tone - he was a bigger whinger than Stoner when he was with Repsol - always down and pessimistic about the Honda.  I met him at the Island at the Subway in Cowes - 10 minutes of my life I will never get back!

Maybe it is time for Stoner to move...

Anyhow doesnt matter this year - without Rossi this is Jorge's championship to lose!

Personally I have always been a Nicky fan, he tries his ass off every session on the bike.
Sure he did carry on at Honda but it was only when the Dani Bot show was in town, the team instantly favoured
the other side of the garage with Spanish Repsol money.

Stoner can ride for sure but if you can't adapt to whatever bike the team make it shows his one dimensionality.
Speaking there of, I saw the most animated interview/chat with him on OneHD in the qualiy show.
He must have just had a tub'n'rub with Mrs Stoner.  [cheeky] [cheeky]

Oh and love that bike but isn't grog money illegal kinda like smoker's money.

My exact thoughts. In my opinion Ducati has now made a machine not for one specific rider... but a more adaptable machine,Giving the team the ability to head hunt with greater success.Stoner has no longer the custom fit machine from the past, which is clear in the progress of Hayden, and also exposes the lack of Stoner's ability to addapt.

I beg to differ here guys - we still havent had any real success from Hayden - close as he is getting he probably will get a podium this year, but I would be surprised to see if he actually wins any races for the rest of the season.  If the Ducati is meant to be a more adaptable machine why is the satellite teams still having difficulties?

You may be correct in thinking Stoner in one dimensional, but I like to think he is the only person that has taken a raw brute of a machine and twisted it to win on the track - the fact they (Ducati) are taming (or making it adaptable as Doc put it  [cheeky]) in my opinion is making it less competitive.  Since when have Italians been adaptable??  ;D

As for head hunting, well Livio is over with Honda now.......

mattyvas

Yeah I see your point(s) I guess though it's the fact that less people are Stoner fans.
That he is not doing so well this year makes it easier to give it to him.
For me though it's the fact of his single dimension personality just doesn't win fans.

I hope you are joking. When you say adaptable who has adapted to it? There are five ducatis in Moto GP and the best of the rest is fourth place. 2)That bike was never custom fit to Stoner, he fell into the job after two other riders refused to sign for Ducati. 3) Hayden fell down last race due to front end issues the same as Stoner and the best he has done so far is fourth. 5)Adapt, Stoner is the only rider that has adapted from riding any other factories machine and won a world championchip, Id say he's pretty adaptable, the fact speak for themselves.

Yeah I definitely agree with you there Mattyvas - Stoner never has nor never will be media savvy - very Doohanesque in that aspect - he lets his racing do the talking!  [thumbsup]
