I did find this gem though which is worth sharing:

1 million fps Slow Motion video of bullet impacts made by Werner Mehl from Kurzzeit

That may be IS the coolest youtube video i've ever seen.

It's mesmerizing.

Like watching volcanic eruptions on an alien world, or solar flares coming off the sun.

Just watched some videos on youtube of bad range behavior.  Reminds me why I don't go to ranges often, especially public ones.

Yeah, wish I had videoed some of the CHL renewal class range qualifying sessions I have attended. [roll] [bang] :P Some seriously scary shit. And these folks are licensed to carry? WTF? [thumbsdown]
I plan to list the Federal Gov't. as a dependent on my next 1040 tax filing!

I have flying honey badgers and I'm not afraid to use them!

The fact that flame throwers exist is proof that someone somewhere said "I'd sure like to set those people over there on fire but I'm just not close enough to get the job done."

CONFIDENCE: the feeling you have right before you understand the situation.

I was nearly shot in basic training by someone while participating in a live fire exercise during FTX.  The object was to bound forward and shoot a target.  She ran with the weapon pointed to the inside of the lane (toward me,) and accidentally pulled the trigger.  It likely missed me by 20 feet, but that was close enough.

Wow. What happened to always point it in a safe direction (down range), finger off the trigger and that whole the weapon is always loaded thing? [bang] Tell us she got chewed out real good! [popcorn]

The entire platoon was ass chewed and smoked until we couldn't moved. The same person had previously taken 10 tries to qualify, and shot a 4 out of 40 on the first attempt.  She was a flute player and was already being paid at an E-6 rate. Hopefully she never had to pick up a weapon again and just matched in the army band.

My dad played in the national Guard marching band for many years. I hope he never had to pick up a weapon. I would never want to see him even attempt to shoot.

We have been working really hard on long gun mag changes for several years now. They will make a believer out you once you start getting smooth with them.

I've never liked that grip for the rifles. I've seen all the videos and heard all the reaso why it's used, but it simply does not feel natural.

It is extremely effective. If you run several thousand rounds through your gun using that technique, you'll never go back. It's all about leverage bro.

After we trained the Team guys today, I shot another video of my boy. This time with a Glock 19, some of the drills were from concealed carry.

And the sugar fountain fairy swore so hard when she came to super-size that stale hope soybean; liiiike a homeless German woman. Who is this super-sizing spirit-crushing femme? And tell her I'll break a tree root up in her shrimp.

Nice double tap runs... and some triples on the solo target. [thumbsup]
