You won't be disappointed.  Something to look for would be a Kadet conversion kit for it.   I don't have any personal experience with them, but from what I've read, they are quite reliable and accurate.  With the kit, you can do vastly more shooting for your dollar with the same grip and trigger.
This isn't a dress rehearsal for life - this is it!

After we trained the Team guys today, I shot another video of my boy. This time with a Glock 19, some of the drills were from concealed carry.
....
Please excuse the ignorance - what's the real-world application of the drill where he advances, draws, and continues to advance while firing?

In my no-defensive-firearms-training-yet mind, all I can think is "If the threat is enough for you to draw and fire, why the hell would you get closer?"

@ DucPainter - some have mentioned the gritty trigger in reviews.  I am planning on disassmble the gun and doing a poor man's trigger job - few hundred dry fires and light sanding of the trigger moving parts to rid of rough edges and imperfections.

@ WarrenJ - That's definitely a possibility.  I am sure the Wife would want to try it out with a .22, once she warms up to the idea of having a gun.  :)

The Kadet adapters aren't cheap, but there's one on my list.

No offense but be careful messing with the sear and other trigger parts if this is a first time effort for you. I'm no rookie but I tend to leave that work to the experts. You obviously don't want to make the weapon unsafe and on a carry gun you really don't want a real light trigger. Clean, smooth and un-gritty? Sure.

Your described "clean up" is fine. Just saying be conservative in your removal of metal. Dry fire the shit out of it with some snap caps. That and live fire usually gives you a nice trigger job.

Good choice on the handgun. I have a couple of older CZ75s and I love them. [thumbsup] [bacon] Let us know how you like it once you it get some serious range time on it. [popcorn]
I plan to list the Federal Gov't. as a dependent on my next 1040 tax filing!

I have flying honey badgers and I'm not afraid to use them!

The fact that flame throwers exist is proof that someone somewhere said "I'd sure like to set those people over there on fire but I'm just not close enough to get the job done."

CONFIDENCE: the feeling you have right before you understand the situation.

by no means I will be doing any modification to the trigger.  Cleaning up is the extend of my so-called "trigger job".  the intend is to make it smoother.  From what I've read, it will probably require nothing more than just dry firing or a few hundred rounds at the range.  Also some had suggested applying pressure with your thumb to the hammer while pulling the trigger in DA (with an unloaded gun, of course).

They pay for themselves with use.  I have been shooting a LOT more 22 lately..

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

Cool. Again, didn't mean sound out of line. Sounds like a great plan. Have fun breaking it in! [thumbsup] You'll love it. By your description it seems to fill all your needs. Buy ammo, maybe a holster and just shoot it!! [popcorn] [beer]

Cool. Roger that. I think you made a good choice with the CZ. There is a damn good reason that Tanfoglio in Italy have duped the CZ pistol design. Something about imitation being the sincerest form of flattery... that's the case here. How many IPSC race guns built on Tanfoglio frames and slides do you need to prove that CZs are the cat's meow!! Indeed! Thanks. [thumbsup] [beer]

I just came in from building some test loads with a new powder...

so I'm not anti gun.

I am tired of baby games from supposed adults.

We don't do gun law...

or the constitution...

and you both know that.
