9.  Is there any way I can avoid the ATF Short Barreled Rifle (SBR) law?
Yes. If you have a 16" (or longer) barrel for your Glock.

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

He's going to sell a few dozen.

and those will rarely be shot.

It's a gimmick.  Zero usability.
Not if they make an ankle holster for it.   [cheeky]

Grumble grumble Don Hume IWB w/ thumb snap 16 weeks to make and deliver grumble grumble...

Any other options for IWB with a thumb snap that you have experience with / would recommend?  I started w/ Don Hume 'cuz the counter guy at the local shop let me try his out and I really liked it.

Thx!

All the good holster makers have pretty long wait times.

I started using these guys after I became frustrated with the wait for Milt Sparks.  I'm very happy with the one I have.

That's crazy stupid.  Is that just so the manufacturer can say "we made one?"

I was at the local range over the weekend.  As I was concentrating at shooting my target, I was blinded by a huge flash and a shock wave that nearly knocked me off my feet.  As I recover from my blindness and confusion, I walked to the next stall.  I found this dude with a S&W .460.  Giant of a gun...

Yeah there is no other use for this other that to say that you can, in another video I watched the guy picked it up like it weighed 50 lbs. Not a practical hunting rifle.

I was wondering the same thing.  I had a 65 year old co-worker who mail ordered one of these for his glock, he asked a gun smith how to take the existing grip off, then mysteriously got a call from the ATF the next day.  He was completely clueless about the law, and they let him go with a reminder not to install it.

cokey

I only want 4 guns. (Like everyone else it'll problem double n triple lol)..  in a few weeks I'm going to put in the paper work for the shotgun/rifle permit here in ny..  the pistol perm is just too expensive..

So 1st I'll try n get a Mossberg 590a.
2 bolt action rifle, was thinking 308 but not sure if reloading for those are sufficient

Both to be used as cc
3 revolver in 357 mag
4 semi auto pistol in 9 mm
Not in any specific order

Recommendations?   Yes I know I need to shoot all types to find what's right for me..  strong hands and wrist but have  small hands..
I WIN

One thing you should add to your list is a good, reliable, accurate 22 rifle.  Ammo is effective for what it is, inexpensive, accurate within its window.  It provides a pile of enjoyment, excellent practice on all the fundamentals and is an excellent low profile foraging gun.  Ruger 10-22, Savage bolt actions, the CZ bolt 22's are exquisite.  You will shoot that more than all your other long guns combined (or should).  If cost is an issue, one of the inexpensive Savage bolt 22's are a great value.  They are a little rougher in finish, but I have seen them outshoot guns costing several times more.  It should probably be your first rifle.

I'd like to add a 10/22 and a CZ 452 to my collection.

The JC Higgins (Marlin) single shot I have is a nice little rifle.  [thumbsup]

I've been dreaming of a suppressed 10/22 for a while.  Toss in some subsonic rounds, and the turkey vultures around here wouldn't stand a chance.
And the sugar fountain fairy swore so hard when she came to super-size that stale hope soybean; liiiike a homeless German woman. Who is this super-sizing spirit-crushing femme? And tell her I'll break a tree root up in her shrimp.

Being faster than you thought possible…it feels good. No, screw thatâ€"it feels like shotgunning a gallon of adrenaline and chasing it with an all-night orgy aboard a burning Viking boat.

I've got a 452 trainer with the Mauser style sights & 24" tube.  Its a great slim elegant little rifle.  I leave it with the iron sights for practice and I probably shoot it more than any rifle I have.  I've given some silhouette shooters a drubbing with it against their scopes a couple of times.  My wife and I have his and hers 10-22T rifles.  They are pretty fun and accurate.  With Lapua subsonic hollowpoints, the squirrels have a very bad day.  There is probably close to 20 22's of various configurations floating around here somewhere.

I have a Marlin 989 that I cannot part with.  They made it a somewhat copy of the M1.  Very heavy barrel though and easy, solid action.

If you can fine one, pick it up, they stopped making them 20 years ago.  Not as extensible as a Ruger 10/22, but very fine rifle in 22.
