How big was that Mantis?

<Horrifying thought....what if those grew to 3-4 feet long? That'd be a problem.  :o >

She was easily 7in, she was staring me down, thought she was gonna make the beast with two backs me up  :D

However, if those grew to a 3-4' length I don't think I could shuck shells through a 12ga fast enough.

Nah, you'd be fine - cats & medium-sized dogs would have an issue though, 'bout like in coyote country. Squirrels, too - I can picture Howie going into mantis breeding as a hobby...

My friend is recovering from a quite serious accident resulting in multiple arm/hand fractures.
The x-ray shows more titanium than most of can hope to have on our bikes, but I will only share this shot.
