Considering 10k acres burned, we're lucky no homes or lives lost, the area is largely uninhabited.

GF's parent's home not lost, Cal State University Channel Islands not lost.

Weather is better today, and is supposed to cool off a lot tomorrow.

Hoping the fire crews can get it squashed.

Y'all be safe out west. Those are some nasty fires and some raging winds. Bad combo. [bang] We've had our share a year or so ago in Parker County west of the DFW,TX area. Wildfires are not picky on what they burn or where.
I plan to list the Federal Gov't. as a dependent on my next 1040 tax filing!

I have flying honey badgers and I'm not afraid to use them!

The fact that flame throwers exist is proof that someone somewhere said "I'd sure like to set those people over there on fire but I'm just not close enough to get the job done."

tiz the season here in Cali. we had a couple going on here yesterday as well.
Gaspar, Melchior and Balthasar kicked me out of the band..... they said I didnt fit the image they were trying to project. 

So I went solo.  -Me

Great pic of Panama.  I am looking into a business opportunity there real soon.  Can't tell ya exactly what or how but it will be less than three years and you will see hot air balloons flying near there.  Actually right in the frame ( :
