Yellow pinny means instructor, so I doubt he wished I'd get out of his way.  Rather, he probably wished he didn't have to ride behind anyone and could just go all out in the advanced sessions.

Glad you guys up near Denver are done with these DC-10s for a while, as we've got two of these flying out of Phoenix to within 6-10 miles of us, along with smaller aircraft & helicopters out of the local Prescott Airport:



EDIT: So long as the prevailing winds for early summer continue, our house & the rest of downtown aren't threatened, and so far no homes have been destroyed, although a lot of the small ranch properties northwest of town are under mandatory evacuation.
