Thanks to an e-mail Kopf sent me, I will be starting Volume 5.

They are really really rare.
The engine was worth more than the car so they got parted out.
The 205gti with an mi16 was a very common conversion in the late 90's There were a few 309mi16's too

and I did get the comment once Speeddog translated

we had 205 GTi . .. converted to carb, one 8V one 16V . . . for some reason my car, came with Gr N cams, pistons and ECU, we calculated it had around 200PS

Decided to trade in C's Mazda2 for a larger car.  This followed us home.  Maybe should have put in the Diesel thread.

2013 Jetta TDI.
