It is not just Russia - Found this gem of a sign on the wall behind the toilet on the back wall of a bathroom stall at the top of Haleakala.  I love the braille at the bottom.  Why?  Because blind people always feel up the bathroom walls before drinking from the toilet.

So, what the hell IS this thing?

I saw it today driving home on Hwy 605 heading North (or as the locals say, "On The 605").

The photo is terrible. Just a quick snap from my iPhone while driving.

It's a Los Angeles County Sheriff's Truck with some kind of, I don't know, electronic thing in the back. It looks like some kind of sonic crowd control device like what I've seen on Modern Marvels or something.

The truck itself is beefed up with a steel cage all around. If you look at the passenger's side window you can see the steel grating propped open on a hinge. The driver's side was the same way.

It looks like something out of Mad Max. Definitely has a crowd control vibe about it.

Anyone have any ideas?
