I like this forum, made several friends here, and thoroughly enjoy posting pics of what I love the most; Ducati motorcycles, parts, my ham fisted attempts to tinker with them, and the knowledge I've gained from so many talented people here.

But I'd like an explanation as to why constant, incessant posts of photos and links glorifying soldiers and war are ok / politically benign when I'm sure there are plenty of people here who oppose it, or have bad triggers as a result of it because of first hand experience with it.

Why is it perfectly acceptable to post it almost daily, but SkyBarney gets moderated when he takes exception to it? We are all well aware of what Kopf likes by now. Maybe enough is afukn-nuff?

Not trying to be the "PC Police" because it's not the images that bother me so much as what seems like hypocrisy/a double standard.

That's my only words on the subject and I think they were pretty clear and constructive so I hope I don't get banned. I'd have sent it in a PM but it seems that I'm unable to PM the correct authority here.

Here is a funny cat picture for the thread.

Skybarney was moderated because it was personal between him and another member...plain and simple.

It seems you're making it personal also, so take it to pm.

There's a reason I won't  accept pm's from you any longer. Want to tell everyone why since you made what was personal public, or should I?

I sure could go for a pop tart right about now.... even if it turns me into a shit fountain.

Good idea.  Pop tarts for all!!!!   Maybe that'll quell all this board tension building.

Me on my first bike...  21 years ago.

Hahaha.  You look like you're trying so hard to look cool.   [laugh] [laugh]

(To be clear: I mean that with affection, not ridicule---I was the same way with my first bike!)

Back when I was a cowboy

Naked minor...

Holding a gun...

No Helmet...

No safety restraints to prevent a fall...

I am offended by this photo!
It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

I saw a chick in Tijuana do the same trick...only it was with a donkey and a ping-pong paddle

The prescription blue-mirrored sunglasses were proof that I was trying WAY too hard to look cool...

You were a Breck model?

Yes, but I blew the money on motorcycles and they quit calling when I cut my hair.  Dammit... >:(

Well I was gonna drop it but you're asking me questions and it's only polite to respond.

You can tell "everyone" whatever you want, but it'll be your own cognitively biased version of events....just like mine would be.

I don't have a beef with kopfager's photos...if that's all it took to "offend" me I'd have no business being on the internetz. It's double standards, hypocrisy, weak egos, and Internet tuff guys that chap my ass. Would posting photos of burning American flags be a violation of tos? If so, why?

We're all adults here...as long as I have the green light to post pics of my own I could give a rats azz what kop posts.

You won't drop it...you don't have the ability. It will be your downfall here.

I thought you were taking a 'long break' from the board?

It's almost tax season again, time for me to go on the road almost full time so I'm taking a long break from the board now to focus on making lots of $$$$. If anyone would like to stay in touch:
