Walking around Flagstaff last weekend. There was one over every parking space in the lot at this little independent carpet shop.

All that does is make me want to hit the building more.

How I spent my weekend: moving these 2,500 gallon water tanks from one side of Arizona to the other. It was actually a lot of fun...

They were "empty" (which meant draining a few dozen gallons from each) and getting them drained & on the ground took some creativity. Lots of scorpions and a nest of juvenile rattlesnakes were not happy about us disturbing their cozy homes underneath.



Getting them on the trailer was easier than I'd expected; they roll pretty well, even up a decent incline.



Almost rigged & ready, with about 15 miles of gravel between us and I-40. Surfing that whole conglomeration across some long, deep sand sections was entertaining, at least in retrospect.



With just one broken rope in the very redundant rigging, the trip went without any drama. Ready for their new home, just a bit south of the Grand Canyon:

I tried a couple of things, to no avail; apparently if I just past the URL for the image as it appears to me in Google+ (which has worked fine for the past couple of years), it now only works for some users.
