I was reading that Kresge was worth $375mil in 1924. He started with an $8k investment in 1899.

I was referring to the change from Kresge, Jupitor etc. to the present day Kmart Sears mess.

We have two main supermarket chains down under (yep a duopoly) Coles and .... You guessed it Woolworths (aka Woolies).

Both companies are juggernauts!
