The one I heard was at the track in the paddock. Track prepped I'm assuming. Something about that cross plane crank or firing order or who knows but when it's owner revved it as I walked by I stopped in my tracks.

Yes, still beautiful. Tamburini said in an interview that like a good wine or a truly beautiful woman the 916/996 gets better with age. I cant remember who did the interview, maybe Alan Cathcart, but he spoke with such passion about the bike.
