Once I got past the sheer amazement over a chunk of hot steel that big (no doubt, some incredibly exotic, hard-to forge alloy), I started imagining the tools that forged some of the pieces of that power hammer. 

Forging and forge-welding big steel has always been a fascination of mine; though I know this isn't a video thread, this is definitely worth eight minutes of your day:

Something about running and jumping on steel decks not being good for the back.

Currently have 2 herniated disks at L4-5 and L5-S1, awaiting a surgery date for laminectomy.
