If I wasn't who i was, I wouldn't be who I am !

So who's out Hayden or Stoner?

heatherp

Hmn Stoner and Rossi as teamates on Ducatis.  Now that would make for interesting racing.

hadesducati848

can i actually start to cheer for Rossi now? how awesome would this be? cant wait to see.
it is so much easier to get forgiveness then it will ever be to get permission.

Monstar_100

If the rumors where true with Stoner then Rossi would be taking his spot in the team...

I love Silly Season....  ;D ;D ;D

Yes. Will be interesting to see what actually happens.  I'm usually disappointed to find that everybody stays put!

Monstar_100

pretty sure that the people in question will be moving for next year...

mcn are the bike equivalent of the daily sport! i wouldn't believe too much of their "exclusive". still, if rossi thinks moving from yamaha to ducati is going to fix his team mate woes he's kidding himself, lorenzo will wipe the floor with him on the yamaha, and if stoner leaves and he's left with nicky hayden as a team mate he's really screwed, that guy couldn't develop a polaroid.
stoner may be forced to move on but if he goes to honda he may get what he needs to win the title, after all they have thrown everything they have at pedrosa with no luck, and hopefully the duke will fall in a heap and everyone will be reminded that not only did stoner help develop the bike into a championship winner as well as developing the bridgestone tyres that rossi threw a tantrum to get, but also that he's (stoner) the only one who can consistently make the bike successful.

mate I agree with everything you said - whilst Rossi going to Ducati will be a marketing dream for them - development wise it will be a big step backwards.  Yes JB can work miracles, but he is not Merlin (or Harry Potter for you younger folk!!)

Oh and that polariod comment - gold! ;D

Now Stoner and Hayden have done all the hard work he wants to move to Ducati. make the beast with two backs Rossi, and his fag mate.

So a bloke on crutches says to Toseland, "can i have a ride on ya bike around brno for a while?"
Knocks half a second off ya superpole time on race tyres.

Is it time to look for a new job?

Hey Bikeless read this...

Rossi Laps Brno Under Race Record, But No Announcement Yet - Updated

Submitted by David Emmett on Mon, 2010-07-12 19:25.

Valentino Rossi's second test after returning from injury has been completed, and judging by the times, Rossi is fit and ready to race. According to times posted by Rossi's team manager Davide Brivio on Twitter, the Italian lapped Brno in a time under the race lap record set by Cal Crutchlow a day previously, on exactly the same bike. Rossi's lap time was 1'59.135, while Crutchlow's race lap record is 1'59.291.

and my view.....

This is why Val is a god...  Well a PR god anyway...

Compare with the way CS behaved with his fans, sponsors and the media when he was crook...  [roll]

I hope CS looks like he is trying next race if he is behind Dani...   That last effort and the post race comments were crap...

Rossi wants to come back just to let everyone know he can still ride rings around everyone - and Rossi is the best at psychological games!  I bet Jorgay is shitting himself right now.

As for Stoner - yeah he may not of treated people well when he was crook, but do anyone? (I know I am not the best  [laugh]).  Yet he silenced his critics pretty well when he came back, well except for that little mistake at the end.... :P

I reckon now Stoner doesnt have to worry about his contract he will get back to business (probably the reason for the post race comments, waiting for the ink to dry on the contract).  I doubt he will give Dani an easy time about it - may even pass him!   [moto] [laugh]
