Ducatista in DC

I love racing cars and mountain so it was only natural that I moved to motorcycles. 

Just bought my first Ducati, an 08 Ducati Monster 695 (black with a red tressle), upgraded ECU and a Termignoni exhaust kit with only 3500 miles. Dont think I could have said no to this after riding it! Friends all have Ducati's (999 and 1098S) so I had to join the group with something different. 

Off the bat, I love the way I feel in the seat (only 5'7), much better than a Hypermotard.  Love her grunting and torque power.  Looking forward to putting some serious riding time in all the way through October. Not sure what else I can sa about her other than she looks beautiful!

Upgrades - does anyone know where I can find dual headlights or a nice digital reader? and how I can take off the front shield protecting the speedo equipment?

Looking forward to learning from everyone and potentially riding with those in the area

Welcome, again sorta - as I've already hit up your tech questions you posted in CAM.

As far as the meet ups - were trying to get back to it being a regular Tuesday evening event, this weeks sort of fizzled. But a couple weeks back we had near a dozen folks show for a social evening.

Also, we're trying to hammer out some local area teach n tech sessions. Brakes is the first subject on the block for late July.
