...hope Tom made it back fine with his "fail to proceed" machinery...

He did.  In fact, I just dropped him off at his house around 1:30 this afternoon after driving to Taos to get him early this morning.  He saw us go by on the way to ABQ, but he was at the Visitor's Center, not the gas station.  Doh!  He stayed overnight at a Taos motel and called me this morning to see if I could come and get him.  The guy he called to get him yesterday is in China this week.  Double Doh!!

Oh well....at least I got a few pointers on restoration of Bevel Drive Ducatis.   [thumbsup]

Don't forget USA vs. England at 12:30 today

Hope your ride tomorrow is as good as the one Cloner & I just had on the Crest. 4 cars total, 5 or 6 bicycles & 0 Leos.

I think I saw a red duc goin' up when we were comin' down, but not sure.  Anyone here?

Next Sunday is the Sandia Crest bicycle road race, so, if you plan on riding, you may want to pick another route. It starts @ Tram & Central, down 66, N 14 to Golden, over heartbreak hill, back to Frost Rd., then up the Crest.
Might be a good Jamez day.   I'll be working regardless  :(

Hey Cloner, When you pulled out of PJ's, that guy Carlos was showing the bikes to said, "Oh my God! That guys bike sound terrible!"  [laugh] We spent a few minutes explaining why that rattle is like beautiful music to Ducati owners.  He said it sounded like a shopping cart being drug behind a car.  [laugh]
I promise to make better mistakes tomorrow.

I don't care what it sounds like, I just care what it rides like.   [thumbsup]

Thanks for a good ride, KB.

See the rest of you lunatics tomorrow at CAD.
