Hey Folks - Introducing myself

I'd like to introduce myself, I am Al Leathers, 55 years old, and passionate about motorcycling in general and Ducati in particular.  I had wanted a Ducati for years, especially after reading Hunter S. Thompson's "Song of the Sausage Creature".  When the 1098 was introduced in 2007 I had to have one.  So my stable now consists of a Ducati 1098S ("Sophia") and a Honda ST1300 ("Gladys").   I have the bug for a Ducati 1200 Multistrada S to replace the ST1300 but we will have to wait a bit on that one...

I work for a Federal agency and have lived in Northern Virginia since '86 and married my high school sweetheart Karen in '97.  I have one son who lives nearby and is quite a good rider on his Yamaha R1.  I had a blast at VIR with MAD in Oct 2009 on the Full Course for 2 days.   Going to attend the MotoGP at Indy next month.  Thanks for listening.
