Proper way to prepare a pour of absinthe:

Take a proper glass, place an absinthe spoon over it and place a sugar cube on the spoon.


Next, pour a couple ounces of absinthe over the cube into the glass:


Next, apply the flame of a lighter to the sugar cube:


Stir and enjoy!
