Howdy Lucretia!! Long time no hear from. Hope all is well. Happy New year and go EZ on the vicadin and wine. First time I was at my farm with the family after I broke my neck I fixed a great steak dinner and had my first bottle or merlot (or any wine/booze/beer) since the "incident". Dumbshit me forgot I had taken the prescribed 2 pills (I normally took just 1 for pain) right before cooking and eating dinner and I proceeded into knocking off damn near the whole bottle of wine myself. I kinda of stumbled into the bathroom and the last words I heard were "honey, are you all right". That was a few seconds before I lost my balance and fell backwards into the bathtub smacking the back of my head on the tiled wall. Just 3 three weeks after having 4 crushed neck vertebrae fused and wearing a full neck/chest/back brace. Dumbshit award winner!! My wife totally freaked out because she couldn't get me out of the tub and wanted to call 911! I was OK and crawled out under my own power and went straight to bed. Again, watch the Rx and vino!!

Coconut eggnog .. instead of cream I used coconut milk ... it hides the rum even more and hits you like a hammer ...

btw, that is a traditional holiday drink in Puerto Rico - its called coquito and yes, its delicious. Try simmering the milk with some lime rinds and a few cinnamon sticks for extra awesomeness.

I'm much happier with the bourbon barrel aged micro brew that I'm sipping right now.
