I can now officially leave this thread.  I started a new job yesterday. I was off work, without unemployment benefits, for just a week short of a full 6 months. I made a career change, am making 1/3 more then I was and have tons of room for professional growth.

Hang in there job seekers. If it happened for me, I am sure that it will happen for you too.

I'm out.

Officially employed. 

At least employed tomorrow.  Until they get the compilation of performance certificates that I accumulated (requires driving in company vehicles).

LMT will have crazy boss lady stories.
I'll have insane ADD dictator stories.

Regardless:  whew!  I needed this!  Hopefully new moto by mid/late summer?! 
(And a new mtn bike and a new dress and a new toothbrush and a new...)   ;)

My goal is to get into a training program and obtain a 2 year degree in radiology which would secure my future.
To all those who have recently found work YAY! The rest of us............we should all meet up and cook bacon because nothing soothes your soul like  [bacon]

Thanks all!

Sitting in my new (old) office with dusty plastic plants.  Those are definitely going but I'll wait until week 2 or 3.  So far so good and my fears of inability to do some of the tasks that came up Sunday in conversation w/the boss have been assuaged thanks to a few of the women here who said those will definitely not be my responsibilities.

Best of luck for new jobs soon to the others!
