Hello from Baltimore

Hey there, I'm Andrew.  I just picked up a nearly new (3600 miles) 2007 S2R 1000 a little while ago and figure I should stop lurking on here and join up.
I'm out in Baltimore so if there are any other B-more folks around I'd love to meet some of you!
The Ducati is my 4th bike with previous ones being:
    '69 Honda CB77 (Drum brakes SUCK!)
    '81 Honda CB650 (I could actually go on highways with this!)
    '99 Suzuki SV650 (fun little thing, still have it for now)

I've been riding for....13 years I guess?  Too much highway commuting means I'm still slow as hell in the twisties even though I've been riding since before I could drive a car.

It'll take me a bit to figure out what to do with this one since the only mod the PO did was upgrade the slave cylinder.  I'm thinking I should start by getting a real plate for it instead of the one I swiped from my SV.

Welcome - There's a few folks up in Charm city. CAM is section of the board devoted to the DC Bal'mer area folks. The group is most dense a bit further south than Baltimore, but there's folks scattered all over including a couple other recent additions to the board from your area.

No serious mods to speak of yet.  Only a 14t sprocket, different clutch slave cylinder, and some extra driving lights (sort of visible on the front fork)
